Then and there every soul will face ˹the consequences of˺ what it had done. They all will be returned to Allah—their True Master. And whatever ˹gods˺ they fabricated will fail them.

﴿هُنَالِكَ﴾ أي ذلك اليوم ﴿تَبۡلُوا۟﴾ مِنْ الْبَلْوَى وَفِي قِرَاءَة بِتَاءَيْنِ مِنْ التِّلَاوَة ﴿كُلُّ نَفۡسࣲ مَّاۤ أَسۡلَفَتۡۚ﴾ قَدَّمَتْ مِنْ الْعَمَل ﴿وَرُدُّوۤا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَوۡلَىٰهُمُ ٱلۡحَقِّۖ﴾ الثَّابِت الدَّائِم ﴿وَضَلَّ﴾ غَابَ ﴿عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ یَفۡتَرُونَ ٣٠﴾ عَلَيْهِ من الشركاء
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
