Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I have no power to benefit or protect myself, except by the Will of Allah.” For each community there is an appointed term. When their time arrives, they cannot delay it for a moment, nor could they advance it.

Waambie, ewe Mtume, «Siwezi kuiepushia nafsi yangu madhara wala kuiletea manufaa isipokuwa Akiwa Mwenyezi Mungu Ametaka kuniepushia madhara au kuniletea manufaa. Kila watu wana wakati wa kumalizika muda wao na kipindi chao cha kuishi, basi ujapo wakati wa kumalizika kipindi chao cha kuishi na kukoma umri wao, hawatachelewa hata kwa muhula wa saa moja wala hautatangulia muda wa maisha yao mbele ya wakati maalumu.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
