They were followed by a curse in this ˹life˺ and ˹will receive another˺ on the Day of Judgment. What an evil gift to receive!

{ وَأُتْبِعُوا فِي هَذِهِ ْ} أي: في الدنيا { لَعْنَةً وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ْ} أي: يلعنهم الله وملائكته, والناس أجمعون في الدنيا والآخرة. { بِئْسَ الرِّفْدُ الْمَرْفُودُ ْ} أي: بئس ما اجتمع لهم، وترادف عليهم, من عذاب الله، ولعنة الدنيا والآخرة.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
