ثم دعا لنفسه ولذريته، فقال:{ رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِي رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ * رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحساب }فاستجاب الله له في ذلك كله إلا أن دعاءه لأبيه إنما كان عن موعدة وعده إياه، فلما تبين له أنه عدو لله تبرأ منه.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
