A messenger of their own actually did come to them, but they denied him. So the torment overtook them while they persisted in wrongdoing.

Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu Alipeleka kwa watu wa Makkah Mtume miongoni mwao, yeye ni Nabii Muhammad, rehema ya Mwenyezi Mungu na amani zimshukie, wanaijua nasaba yake, ukweli wake na uaminifu wake, wasiyakubali yale aliyowajia nayo na wasimuamini. Hapo iliwapata adhabu ya shida, njaa, kicho na kuuawa wakuu wao huko Badr na hali wao ni madhalimu wa nafsi zao kwa kumshirikisha Mwenyezi Mungu na kuwazuia watu njia Yake.
