˹It is˺ a Quran We have revealed in stages so that you may recite it to people at a deliberate pace. And We have sent it down in successive revelations.

أي: وأنزلنا هذا القرآن مفرقًا، فارقًا بين الهدى والضلال، والحق والباطل. { لِتَقْرَأَهُ عَلَى النَّاسِ عَلَى مُكْثٍ } أي: على مهل، ليتدبروه ويتفكروا في معانيه، ويستخرجوا علومه. { وَنَزَّلْنَاهُ تَنْزِيلًا } أي: شيئًا فشيئًا، مفرقًا في ثلاث وعشرين سنة.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
