We have surely varied ˹the signs˺ in this Quran so perhaps they may be mindful, but it only drives them farther away.

يقول تعالى ( ولقد صرفنا في هذا القرآن ليذكروا ) أي صرفنا فيه من الوعيد لعلهم يذكرون ما فيه من الحجج والبينات والمواعظ فينزجروا عما هم فيه من الشرك والظلم والإفك ( وما يزيدهم ) أي الظالمين منهم ( إلا نفورا ) أي عن الحق وبعدا منه
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
