And he had no manpower to help him against Allah, nor could he ˹even˺ help himself.

أي : عشيرة أو ولد ، كما افتخر بهم واستعز ( ينصرونه من دون الله وما كان منتصرا هنالك الولاية لله الحق ) اختلف القراء هاهنا ، فمنهم من يقف على قوله :( وما كان منتصرا)
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
