He ˹fully˺ knows what is ahead of them and what is behind them,1 but they cannot encompass Him in ˹their˺ knowledge.2

وقوله : ( يعلم ما بين أيديهم وما خلفهم ) أي : يحيط علما بالخلائق كلهم ، ( ولا يحيطون به علما ) كقوله : ( ولا يحيطون بشيء من علمه إلا بما شاء )[ البقرة : 255 ] .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
