So We cautioned, “O Adam! This is surely an enemy to you and to your wife. So do not let him drive you both out of Paradise, for you ˹O Adam˺ would then suffer ˹hardship˺.

( فقلنا يا آدم إن هذا عدو لك ولزوجك ) يعني : حواء ، عليهما السلام ( فلا يخرجنكما من الجنة فتشقى ) أي : إياك أن يسعى في إخراجك منها ، فتتعب وتعنى وتشقى في طلب رزقك ، فإنك هاهنا في عيش رغيد هنيء ، لا كلفة ولا مشقة .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
