Aaron had already warned them beforehand, “O my people! You are only being tested by this, for indeed your ˹one true˺ Lord is the Most Compassionate. So follow me and obey my orders.”

Kwa kweli, Hārūn aliwaambia Wana wa Isrāīl kabla Mūsā hajarudi kuwajia, «Enyi watu wangu, hakika nyinyi mumetahiniwa na huyu kigombe, ili aonekana wazi mwenye Imani miongoni mwenu apate kujitenga na mwenye kukanusha. Kwa hakika Mola wenu ni Al-Rahmān (Mwingi wa Rehema) si mwingine. Basi nifuateni katika lile ninalowaitia la kumuabudu Mwenyezi Mungu na muitii amri yangu katika kufuata sheria Yake.»
