When the disbelievers see you ˹O Prophet˺, they only make fun of you, ˹saying,˺ “Is this the one who speaks ˹ill˺ of your gods?” while they disbelieve at the mention of the Most Compassionate.

Hadith
﴿وَإِذَا رَءَاكَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوۤا۟ إِن﴾ ما ﴿یَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُؤًا﴾ أي مهزوءا به يقولون ﴿أَهَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِی یَذۡكُرُ ءَالِهَتَكُمۡ﴾ أَيْ يَعِيبهَا ﴿وَهُم بِذِكۡرِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ﴾ لهم ﴿هُمۡ﴾ تأكيد ﴿كَـٰفِرُونَ﴾ بِهِ إذْ قَالُوا مَا نَعْرِفهُ
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
