He replied, “In fact, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Who created them ˹both˺. And to that I bear witness.”

( قال بل ربكم رب السماوات والأرض الذي فطرهن ) أي : ربكم الذي لا إله غيره ، هو الذي خلق السماوات [ والأرض ] وما حوت من المخلوقات الذي ابتدأ خلقهن ، وهو الخالق لجميع الأشياء ( وأنا على ذلكم من الشاهدين ) أي : وأنا أشهد أنه لا إله غيره ، ولا رب سواه .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
