˹You would have suffered,˺ had it not been for Allah’s grace and mercy upon you, and had Allah not been Ever Gracious, Most Merciful.

Hadith
يقول تعالى : ( ولولا فضل الله عليكم ورحمته وأن الله رءوف رحيم ) أي : لولا هذا لكان أمر آخر ، ولكنه تعالى رؤوف بعباده ، رحيم بهم . فتاب على من تاب إليه من هذه [ القضية ] وطهر من طهر منهم بالحد الذي أقيم عليه .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
