˹You would have suffered,˺ had it not been for Allah’s grace and mercy upon you, and had Allah not been Ever Gracious, Most Merciful.

آیت 20 وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللّٰہِ عَلَیْکُمْ وَرَحْمَتُہٗ وَاَنَّ اللّٰہَ رَءُ وْفٌ رَّحِیْمٌ ”تو یہ جو طوفان اٹھایا گیا تھا اس کے نتائج بہت دور تک جاتے۔ اس مفہوم کے الفاظ یہاں محذوف ہیں۔
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
