For her to be spared the punishment, she must swear four times by Allah that he is telling a lie,

﴿وَیَدۡرَؤُا۟﴾ أي يدفع ﴿عَنۡهَا ٱلۡعَذَابَ﴾ حد الزنى الذي ثبت بشهادته ﴿أَن تَشۡهَدَ أَرۡبَعَ شَهَـٰدَ ٰتِۭ بِٱللَّهِ إِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلۡكَـٰذِبِینَ ٨﴾ فيما رماها به من الزنى
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
