And We inspired Moses, ˹saying,˺ “Leave with My servants at night, for you will surely be pursued.”

أوحى الله إلى موسى: أَنْ أَسْرِ بِعِبَادِي أي: اخرج ببني إسرائيل أول الليل, ليتمادوا ويتمهلوا في ذهابهم. إِنَّكُمْ مُتَّبَعُونَ أي: سيتبعكم فرعون وجنوده. ووقع كما أخبر, فإنهم لما أصبحوا, وإذا بنو إسرائيل قد سروا كلهم مع موسى.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
