They have certainly denied ˹the truth˺, so they will soon face the consequences of their ridicule.

( فقد كذبوا فسيأتيهم أنباء ما كانوا به يستهزئون ) أي : فقد كذبوا بما جاءهم من الحق ، فسيعلمون نبأ هذا التكذيب بعد حين ، ( وسيعلم الذين ظلموا أي منقلب ينقلبون )[ الشعراء : 227 ] .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
