And ˹remember˺ Lot, when he rebuked ˹the men of˺ his people, “Do you commit that shameful deed while you can see ˹one another˺?

قوله تعالى : ولوطا إذ قال لقومه أي وأرسلنا لوطا ، أو اذكر لوطا إذ قال لقومه وهم أهل سدوم . أتأتون الفاحشة الفعلة القبيحة الشنيعة . وأنتم تبصرون أنها فاحشة ، وذلك أعظم لذنوبكم . وقيل : يأتي بعضكم بعضا وأنتم تنظرون إليه . وكانوا لا يستترون عتوا منهم وتمردا .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
