Now you see the mountains, thinking they are firmly fixed, but they are travelling ˹just˺ like clouds. ˹That is˺ the design of Allah, Who has perfected everything. Surely He is All-Aware of what you do.

ومن هوله أنك { ترى الْجِبَالَ تَحْسَبُهَا جَامِدَةً } لا تفقد [شيئا] منها وتظنها باقية على الحال المعهودة وهي قد بلغت منها الشدائد والأهوال كل مبلغ وقد تفتت ثم تضمحل وتكون هباء منبثا. ولهذا قال:{ وَهِيَ تَمُرُّ مَرَّ السَّحَابِ } من خفتها وشدة ذلك الخوف وذلك { صُنْعَ اللَّهِ الَّذِي أَتْقَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ إِنَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَفْعَلُونَ } فيجازيكم بأعمالكم.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
