And there came a man, rushing from the farthest end of the city. He said, “O Moses! The chiefs are actually conspiring against you to put you to death, so leave ˹the city˺. I really advise you ˹to do so˺.”

قال تعالى : ( وجاء رجل ) وصفه بالرجولية لأنه خالف الطريق ، فسلك طريقا أقرب من طريق الذين بعثوا وراءه ، فسبق إلى موسى ، فقال له : يا موسى ( إن الملأ يأتمرون بك ) أي : يتشاورون فيك ( ليقتلوك فاخرج ) أي : من البلد ( إني لك من الناصحين ) .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
