When Our messenger-angels came to Abraham with the good news ˹of the birth of Isaac˺, they said, “We are going to destroy the people of this city ˹of Sodom˺, for its people have persisted in wrongdoing.”

Na Malaika walipomjia Ibrāhīm na habari ya furaha itokayo kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ya (kuzaliwa) Isḥāq, na nyuma ya Isḥāq ni mwanawe, Ya’qūb, walisema wale Malaika, «Sisi ni wenye kuwaangamiza watu wa kijiji cha watu wa Lūṭ, nacho ni Sadūm, kwa kuwa watu wake wamekuwa ni wenye kujidhulumu wenyewe kwa kumuasi Mwenyezi Mungu.»
