Whenever Our revelations are recited to them, they turn away in arrogance as if they did not hear them, as if there is deafness in their ears. So give them good news ˹O Prophet˺ of a painful punishment.

Na anaposomewa aya za Qur’ani anaupa mgongo utiifu wa Mwenyezi Mungu na anafanya kiburi bila kuzingatia, kama kwamba yeye hakusikia kitu, kama kwamba kwenye mashikio yake kuna uziwi. Na yoyote ambaye hali yake ni hii, mpe bishara, ewe Mtume, ya adhabu kali yenye kuumiza humo Motoni Siku ya Kiyama.
