then He fashioned them and had a spirit of His Own ˹creation˺ breathed into them. And He gave you hearing, sight, and intellect. ˹Yet˺ you hardly give any thanks.

( ثم سواه ) يعني : آدم ، لما خلقه من تراب خلقه سويا مستقيما ، ( ونفخ فيه من روحه وجعل لكم السمع والأبصار والأفئدة ) ، يعني العقول ، ( قليلا ما تشكرون ) أي : بهذه القوى التي رزقكموها الله عز وجل . فالسعيد من استعملها في طاعة ربه عز وجل .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
