Or ˹ask them˺ if We created the angels as females right before their eyes.

وقوله : ( أم خلقنا الملائكة إناثا وهم شاهدون ) أي : كيف حكموا على الملائكة أنهم إناث وما شاهدوا خلقهم ؟ كقوله :( وجعلوا الملائكة الذين هم عباد الرحمن إناثا أشهدوا خلقهم ستكتب شهادتهم ويسألون )[ الزخرف : 19 ] أي : يسألون عن ذلك يوم القيامة .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
