We have not created the heavens and earth and everything in between without purpose—as the disbelievers think. So woe to the disbelievers because of the Fire!

قوله تعالى وما خلقنا السماء والأرض وما بينهما باطلا أي هزلا ولعبا . أي : ما خلقناهما إلا لأمر صحيح وهو الدلالة على قدرتنا . ذلك ظن الذين كفروا أي حسبان الذين كفروا أن الله خلقهما باطلا فويل للذين كفروا من النار
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
