That was because their messengers used to come to them with clear proofs, but they persisted in disbelief. So Allah seized them. Surely He is All-Powerful, severe in punishment.

Adhabu hiyo iliyowafikia wakanushaji waliopita ilikuwa ni kwa sababu ya msimamo wao juu ya Mitume ya Mwenyezi Mungu waliokuja na dalili za yakini za kuonesha ukweli wa madai yao, basi wakawakanusha na wakawafanya warongo na Mwenyezi Mungu Akawapatiliza kwa mateso Yake, hakika Yeye ni Mwenye nguvu hashindwi na yoyote, ni Mkali wa kutesa kwa aliyemkanusha na kumuasi.
