But their faith was of no benefit to them when they saw Our torment. This has ˹always˺ been Allah’s way ˹of dealing˺ with His ˹wicked˺ servants. Then and there the disbelievers were in ˹total˺ loss.

Imani yao hiyo haikuwa ni yenye kuwanufaisha walipoiona adhabu yetu, kwa kuwa ni imani ambayo hawakuwa na budi nayo, na si Imani ya hiyari na kutaka. Huo ndio mpango na njia Aliyoiweka kwa ummah wote, kwamba Imani isiwanufaishe wanapoiona adhabu. Na itakapokuja adhabu ya Mwenyezi Mungu, wataangamia wenye kumkanusha Mola wao, wenye kukataa kumpwekesha na kumtii.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
