If they turn away, then say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I warn you of a ˹mighty˺ blast, like the one that befell ’Ȃd and Thamûd.”

﴿فَإِنۡ أَعۡرَضُوا۟﴾ أي كفار مكة عن الإيمان بعد هذا البيان ﴿فَقُلۡ أَنذَرۡتُكُمۡ﴾ خوفتكم ﴿صَـٰعِقَةࣰ مِّثۡلَ صَـٰعِقَةِ عَادࣲ وَثَمُودَ ١٣﴾ عذابا يهلككم مثل الذي أهلكهم
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
