So We will certainly make the disbelievers taste a severe punishment, and We will surely repay them according to the worst of their deeds.

ثم قال تعالى : منتصرا للقرآن ، ومنتقما ممن عاداه من أهل الكفران :( فلنذيقن الذين كفروا عذابا شديدا ) أي : في مقابلة ما اعتمدوه في القرآن وعند سماعه ، ( ولنجزينهم أسوأ الذي كانوا يعملون ) أي : بشر أعمالهم وسيئ أفعالهم
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
