And as for those who disbelieved, ˹they will be told,˺ “Were My revelations not recited to you, yet you acted arrogantly and were a wicked people?

ثم قال : ( وأما الذين كفروا أفلم تكن آياتي تتلى عليكم فاستكبرتم ) أي : يقال لهم ذلك تقريعا وتوبيخا : أما قرئت عليكم آيات الرحمن فاستكبرتم عن اتباعها ، وأعرضتم عند سماعها ، ( وكنتم قوما مجرمين ) أي : في أفعالكم ، مع ما اشتملت عليه قلوبكم من التكذيب ؟
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
