Indeed, those who relapse ˹into disbelief˺ after ˹true˺ guidance has become clear to them, ˹it is˺ Satan ˹that˺ has tempted them, luring them with false hopes.

ثم قال تعالى : ( إن الذين ارتدوا على أدبارهم ) أي : فارقوا الإيمان ورجعوا إلى الكفر ، ( من بعد ما تبين لهم الهدى الشيطان سول لهم ) أي : زين لهم ذلك وحسنه ، ( وأملى لهم ) أي : غرهم وخدعهم
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
