Give women ˹you wed˺ their due dowries graciously. But if they waive some of it willingly, then you may enjoy it freely with a clear conscience.

Na wapeni wanawake, enyi waume, mahari yao, kipewa kinacholazimu na faradhi iliyopasa, kwa roho yenu safi. Na iwapo zitakuwa safi nafsi zao kwenu na kuwatunuku chochote katika mahari, basi kichukueni na mkitumie mnavyotaka, kwani hicho ni halali iliyo nzuri.
