{ الَّذِي جَعَلَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ } أي: عبد معه غيره، ممن لا يملك لنفسه نفعًا، ولا ضرًا، ولا موتًا ولا حياة، ولا نشورًا، { فَأَلْقِيَاهُ } أيها الملكان القرينان { فِي الْعَذَابِ الشَّدِيدِ } الذي هو معظمها وأشدها وأشنعها.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
