To Allah ˹alone˺ belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth so that He may reward the evildoers according to what they did, and reward the good-doers with the finest reward1—

يخبر تعالى أنه مالك السماوات والأرض ، وأنه الغني عما سواه ، الحاكم في خلقه بالعدل ، وخلق الخلق بالحق ، ( ليجزي الذين أساءوا بما عملوا ويجزي الذين أحسنوا بالحسنى ) أي : يجازي كلا بعمله ، إن خيرا فخير ، وإن شرا فشر .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
