Ask ˹them, O Prophet˺, “Imagine if Allah were to take away your hearing or sight, or seal your hearts—who else other than Allah could restore it?” See ˹O Prophet˺ how We vary the signs, yet they still turn away.

Sema, ewe Mtume, kuwaambia washirikina hawa, «Nambieni ikiwa Mwenyezi Mungu Ameyaondoa masikizi yenu Akawafanya viziwi, Akayaondoa macho yenu Akawafanya vipofu na Akapiga mhuri juu ya nyoyo zenu mkawa hamufahamu neno, basi ni mola gani asiyekuwa Mwenyezi Mungu, Aliyetukuka na kuwa juu, awezaye kuwarudishia nyinyi vitu hivyo?» Angalia, ewe Mtume, ni namna gani sisi tunawatolea hoja aina mbalimbali, kisha wao baada yake wanakataa kukumbuka na kuzingatia?
