The deeds of those who deny Our signs and the meeting ˹with Allah˺ in the Hereafter will be in vain. Will they be rewarded except for what they have done?”

وقوله : ( والذين كذبوا بآياتنا ولقاء الآخرة حبطت أعمالهم ) أي : من فعل منهم ذلك واستمر عليه إلى الممات ، حبط عمله .
وقوله : ( هل يجزون إلا ما كانوا يعملون ) أي : إنما نجازيهم بحسب أعمالهم التي أسلفوها ، إن خيرا فخير وإن شرا فشر ، وكما تدين تدان .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
