Ellos serán castigados en esta vida, pero el tormento que les aguarda en la otra será aún más severo, y no tendrán quién los proteja de Dios.

قوله تعالى : " لهم عذاب في الحياة الدنيا " أي للمشركين الصادين : بالقتل والسبي والإسار ، وغير ذلك من الأسقام والمصائب .ولعذاب الآخرة أشق أي أشد ; من قولك : شق علي كذا يشق .وما لهم من الله من واق أي مانع يمنعهم من عذابه ولا دافع . و " من " زائدة .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
