Dicen los que se niegan a creer: “¿Por qué no desciende con él un milagro de su Señor[1]?” [Respóndeles, ¡Oh, Mujámmad!,] que tú solo eres un amonestador y que para cada pueblo he enviado un [Profeta como] guía. 1

قوله تعالى : ويقول الذين كفروا لولا أي هلا " أنزل عليه آية من ربه " . لما اقترحوا الآيات وطلبوها قال الله تعالى لنبيه - صلى الله عليه وسلم - : " إنما أنت منذر " أي معلم . " ولكل قوم هاد " أي نبي يدعوهم إلى الله . وقيل : الهادي الله ; أي عليك الإنذار ، والله هادي كل قوم إن أراد هدايتهم .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
