أي: ألم تشاهد ببصرك وبصيرتك كمال قدرة ربك وسعة رحمته، أنه مد على العباد الظل وذلك قبل طلوع الشمس { ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَا الشَّمْسَ عَلَيْهِ } أي: على الظل { دَلِيلًا } فلولا وجود الشمس لما عرف الظل فإن الضد يعرف بضده.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
