Pero lo desmintieron, y por ello los azotó el castigo el día de la sombra[1]. Fue el castigo de un día terrible. 1

( فكذبوه فأخذهم عذاب يوم الظلة ) وذلك أنه أخذهم حر شديد ، فكانوا يدخلون الأسراب فإذا دخلوها وجدوها أشد حرا فخرجوا ، فأظلتهم سحابة ، وهي الظلة ، فاجتمعوا تحتها ، فأمطرت عليهم نارا فاحترقوا ، ذكرناه في سورة هود . ( إنه كان عذاب يوم عظيم )
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
