Cuando se les recita[1] [el Corán] dicen: “Creemos en él; es la Verdad que proviene de nuestro Señor. Antes de escucharlo ya éramos musulmanes [sometidos a Dios]”. 1

وإذا يتلى عليهم قالوا آمنا به إنه الحق من ربنا أي إذا قرئ عليهم القرآن قالوا صدقنا بما فيه ( إنا كنا من قبله ) أي من قبل نزوله ، أو من قبل بعثة محمد عليه السلام مسلمين أي موحدين ، أو مؤمنين بأنه سيبعث محمد وينزل عليه القرآن .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
