para preguntarles [el Día del Juicio] a los veraces[1] acerca de su veracidad [si cumplieron con ese compromiso]. Dios tiene preparado para los que negaron la verdad un castigo doloroso. 1

وسيسأل اللّه الأنبياء وأتباعهم، عن هذا العهد الغليظ هل وفوا فيه، وصدقوا؟ فيثيبهم جنات النعيم؟ أم كفروا، فيعذبهم العذاب الأليم؟ قال تعالى:{ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ }
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
