قوله تعالى : ألم أعهد إليكم يا بني آدم أن لا تعبدوا الشيطان إنه لكم عدو مبينقوله تعالى : ألم أعهد إليكم يا بني آدم العهد هنا بمعنى الوصية ، أي : ألم أوصكم وأبلغكم على ألسنة الرسل " أن لا تعبدوا الشيطان " أي لا تطيعوه في معصيتي . قال الكسائي : لا للنهي .
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
