Quienes tomaron a otros [como divinidades y objeto de adoración] en lugar de Dios, deben saber que Dios tiene registradas todas sus obras; pero tú [¡Oh, Mujámmad!] no eres responsable de lo que ellos hagan.

والذين اتخذوا غير الله آلهة مِن دونه يتولَّونها، ويعبدونها، الله تعالى يحفظ عليهم أفعالهم؛ ليجازيهم بها يوم القيامة، وما أنت -أيها الرسول- بالوكيل عليهم بحفظ أعمالهم، إنما أنت منذر، فعليك البلاغ وعلينا الحساب.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
