Debido a las injusticias que cometían los judíos, y porque constantemente obstaculizaban el camino de Dios, les prohibí cosas buenas que antes les eran permitidas.

[ فَبِظُلْمٍ مِنَ الَّذِينَ هَادُوا حَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ طَيِّبَاتٍ أُحِلَّتْ لَهُمْ ] بههۆی زوڵم و ستهمی جوولهكهكانهوهو سهرپێچی كردنى پێغهمبهرانیان ههندێك شتی حهڵاڵ و پاكمان لهسهریان حهرام كرد كه پێشتر بۆیان حهڵاڵ كرابوو [ وَبِصَدِّهِمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَثِيرًا (١٦٠) ] وه بههۆی ئهوهی كه ڕێگری و بهربهستیان ئهكرد له ڕێگای خوای گهوره له ئیسلام و شوێنكهوتنی پێغهمبهری خوا- صلى الله عليه وسلم - وه له كوشتنیان بۆ پێغهمبهران.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
