Dios solo les prohíbe que tomen por aliados a quienes los combaten a causa de la religión y los han expulsado de sus hogares o han contribuido a su expulsión. Sepan que quienes los tomen como aliados estarán cometiendo una injusticia.

جہاں تک عدل و انصاف کا تعلق ہے وہ ہر ایک سے کیا جائے گا، خواہ فریق ثانی دشمن ہو یا غیر دشمن۔ مگر دوستی کا تعلق ہر ایک سے درست نہیں۔ دوستی صرف اسی کے ساتھ جائز ہے جو اللہ کا دوست ہو یا کم از کم یہ کہ وہ اللہ کا دشمن نہ ہو۔
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
