আমরা তো তাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করেছি [১] , যেভাবে পরীক্ষা করেছিলাম উদ্যান-অধিপতিদেরকে, যখন তারা শপথ করেছিল যে, তারা প্ৰত্যুষে আহরণ করবে বাগানের ফল,
[১] অর্থাৎ আমি মক্কাবাসীদের পরীক্ষায় ফেলেছি। [কুরতুবী]
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
