Nous ne leur avons fait aucun tort. Mais ils se sont fait du tort à eux-mêmes. Leurs divinités, qu’ils invoquaient en dehors d’Allah, ne leur ont servi à rien, quand l’Ordre (le châtiment) de ton Seigneur fut venu ; plutôt, elles n’ont fait qu’accroître leur perte.

وَمَا زَادُوْهُمْ غَيْرَ تَتْبِيْبٍ جب اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے عذاب استیصال کا حکم آگیا تو ان کے وہ معبود جنہیں وہ اللہ کو چھوڑ کر پکارا کرتے تھے ان کے کچھ کام نہ آسکے اور انہوں نے ان کی ہلاکت و بربادی کے سوا اور کسی چیز میں اضافہ نہیں کیا۔
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
