Ainsi l’avons-Nous fait descendre (le Coran) [sous forme] de loi en arabe. Et si tu suis leurs passions après ce que tu as reçu comme savoir, alors il n’y aura pour toi, contre Allah, ni allié ni protecteur.

وكما أنزلنا الكتب على الأنبياء بلسانهم أنزلنا إليك -أيها الرسول- القرآن بلغة العرب; لتحكم به، ولئن اتبعت أهواء المشركين في عبادة غير الله -بعد الحق الذي جاءك من الله- ليس لك ناصر ينصرك ويمنعك من عذابه.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
